When trying to pedal sometimes I'm loosing about half a pedal stroke before before I can get any resistance and drive forward assume its rear free hub problem ? I run Hope Pro 2 rear hub could it be a problem with the paws engaging

Yup, definitely- luckily it's nice and easy to check, there's a wee bit more to it than this but it is basically pull the freehub off, have a gander.

pawls btw 🙂 Most likely the springs, but it might just be dirty- pro 2 sealing is pretty poor so crap can get into the ratchet ring and just clog it up.

Thanks guys it was full of crap and one of the springs was stuck down all sorted
