[#4045748]

Not rode my Orange 5 for 9 months since buying my HT. Planning on joining the 29 revolution so it's time to send the FS and my 26" HT to new homes.

Before I post it...what do you think I can reasonably expect for it.

Frame condition
Rode it with a Rohloff so no front shifter marks on seat tube.
No dings but has a few light scratches.
Bottom bracket paint beginning to look tired.
The rear swing arm has had the LH internal cabling holes slightly enlarged to accomodate the 2 x Rohloff shifter cables.

Spec:
Orange 5 (2years 4 months old)
Metalic grey
18" frame
Fox RP23 PUSHED rear shock (Serviced/tuned by TFTuned)
Rock Shox 140mm UTurn Pike coil PUSHED 20mm Maxle forks (Bought/serviced/tuned by TFTuned)
Chris king BB
Hope heatset
Orange 60mm stem, bars & grips
Hope M4 Tech front and rear brakes with braided hoses
Hope Pro2 20mm Maxle with Mavic 719 front wheel
Front 200mm Hope 'floating' rotor
Hope Seat QR
Raceface seatpost (no saddle)
No back wheel or drive chain

Having had a little trawl through various sites the asking price range seems to vary massively so hence the question.

I take it it's a 2010 frame? If so you should expect around £7/800 for that. Forks around £200? Brakes around £150/200

Sold as a package you'd get around £1000, maybe a little more. Complete bikes sell for around £1300 to £1500.

So, what would you recommend...split it up for sell it as a complete (ish) package?

Spilt to maximise your return, but endure more hassle having to sell then post everything out individually.
Sell it as package and expect to loose more but have less 'hassle' overall.

Thanks z1ppy, well worth the read. I'm not desperate to sell it immediately as I'm of on Hols next week. It'll be a nice project to come back to...

Decision time!
