Evening all,
I'm planning on heading to the Lakes for a bash at the Lakeland 200 and need to leave the car somewhere, Staveley mill yard seemed a good idea especially if I can time it so Wilf's is open on my return.
Can any locals or others who have done the same in the past comment on whether this is a good plan or not?

You should be ok, it's not exactly the Bronx! Maybe have a word with wheelbase and let them know your cars going to be left there for a couple of days.

Cheers Sam, I realise it's not a rough area 😉 was a bit concerned about annoying people and whether there's a barrier across the entrance at night.

Nah, no barriers it's open 24/7. If you use the parking bays at the back of the car park behind wheelbase, you'll be ok.
