Just took delivery of one of these from CRC and to be honest the quality look svery shoddy and the stand itself is twisted, this isn't what I'd expect for £30+.
Now do I return for a full refund or exchange and hope that the next one is better or make one myself out of mdf and a few bolts, stud bar and wingnuts 😕
Take measurements and make one out of MDF, i got a tilting base with the second hand stand i bought and couldn't belive what they were charging for them.
I've seen a few shops with them on MDF bases, one of them had littel clip lock containers screwed or glued onto the MDF for the little bits so nothing gets lost when the stand gets moved about. I though that was a better idea then the little cup container things on the Park base which are fine for when you are building a wheel but no good for storage of extras.
Think I've got some MDF in the shed so I'll get this one returned 🙂
