Just got a rack for my daughters Frog 62 (24” wheel) bike.

Hoping to find some little panniers.
Initially thought front panniers (not being so big) might do the job?

Some kind of rack bag may be ok but I’d prefer side panniers if possible.

Anybody got any experience / suggestions?

front panniers.  Both ortleib and carradice do small panniers for fronts which work well on the back

Ortlieb front rollers on my kids' Islabikes. They fit perfectly.

That's on 20 and 26 inch wheels.

The Frog 62 now has a rack and some Ortlieb front panniers. Needless to say daughter thinks they’re the bees knees!

So now I am thinking of taking her and her brother on a little overnight camping trip. She is 8. He is 6.

Not planning to go too far, just a mini-adventure.
I need to find a traffic free route with campsite options

Had Anybody got any advice? Kit recommendations for kids?
I’ll need to get them a new sleeping bag each.

Daughter can carry some lightergear in her panniers and on her rack, I’ll be carrying the rest.
If my wife comes we can share the tent carrying between us.

Regretting selling the trailer now!

We did an overnight on the Whitby to Scarborough cinder path. Started just N. Of Scarborough leaving the car in a village, camped at Robin Hood's bay (campsite at Fylingdale has a hole in the fence for path access).
We finished at Ruswarp and I cycled back for the car whilst kids did the soft play (they were 5 and 8 at the time). Alternatively there are buses every hour to Scarborough for the return.
Eldest rode a 20 inch wheel frog, youngest stoked the tandem. Kit went in panniers on my wife's bike and a kiddy trailer behind the tandem. Was a good trip and apart from a couple of hundred metres in Robin Hood's bay car free path.

@slowol music to my ears that! I’m in Middlesbrough and the cinder track is my current best option to look into.
Thanks

Looking at the map it was Scalby we left the car in and was no problem (bus stop in the village too).
There is a pub at Hayburn Wyke and a good tea shop with curd cake, etc. at Ravenscar. That it the top of the hill from either direction and quite a haul from either direction for the kids. Ice cream at the top promise helped (but you know that!).
The Whitby end of the path kind of dumps you 2/3 of the way up the hill from town with a busy road to the bus station, not a Whitby Station which is in a better spot by the harbour and bus station. I did ride it with then 10 year old last summer and him using the pavement. It was just a day out bimble from Hawsker as he wanted to go to Whitby to see the boats and eat ice cream.
Not done the last few miles of the path into Scarborough.

Ravenscar to Scarborough straightforward nice old station cafe part way
cinder track seems to just stop in Scarborough by a sainsbury store next to large housing estate
was expecting to get to the beach without busy roads!! Didn’t see any signage to help nice ride for kids though

I've got a small set of panniers from Decathlon for our Thorn kiddyback tandem (so essentially a kids 26" bike at the back!). They were only about 15 quid.
