I've got a boardman carbon roadie back from 2010 and tbh it looks gash with BOARDMAN all over it .I fancied getting it painted or just song some diy funky graphics on it -anyone tried this?

mate did his Blur XC Carbon, he is very good at that sort of thing though.

It will have a coat or two of clear on it. so you can flat that and paint on to it.
I had a replacement forks for a Defy from a TCR, the TCR would have had Giant down the head tube and forks. So the forks had ANT on them.
I took my time and flatted the ANT areas down, then did a couple of coats of clear over the top. Kept all the other decals- paint scheme on the forks.
