What about a thread celebrating other STWer's bikes that have taken your fancy?

I'm thinking of the restomod thread and all the sweet bikes there but, for me, it's @nedrapier 's green DeKerf that stands out. I don't know why, it just ticks all my boxes.

There's that bike and a while back some unknown STWer posted a lovely stealth black Santa Cruz Superlight. Oh yeah!

There's also been some really cool mini-velos too.

Can't think of too many rules other than you can't post your own bike. Doesn't have to be restomod or an MTB, just a bike.

C'mon, post what makes you grin.

We could do with a tournament. Pictures are submitted, pitched in pairs with a voting period using 'likes' to ascertain the round winners. Keep this format until one reigns supreme. Maybe a little prize from STW for the '2025 STW Readers Ride' winner. @Mark

Probably need a readers rides thread before we can choose, as finding something that you like would be a right trawl unless you have a photographic memory.

I was recently looking for a Nordest with a Pinion that someone built up a few years ago but couldn't find it.

STW's search function being the well oiled machine that it is...

I wouldn't even remember what any of them look like ... except the ones i've ridden.

I nominate this beauty: a Sour Crumble, posted by @munrobiker

I mean, the paint job alone...

Thanks @arrpee ! I was riding it yesterday looking at the sea which was the same colour. I just love it.

I've always thought @Daffy had great taste in bikes. His always look good.

Recently, I was really drawn to @onewheelgood 's Meteor. It's not the sort of bike I'd ride but it is lovely.

Munro sour is lovely.
I agree Daffy turns out some lovely looking bikes.
ivandobskis custom titanium’s probably get my vote as the bikes I would want to own. Can’t find the pics though!

Same. God knows what I'd do with it, but...wow! A form-follows-function masterpiece

Oh, bearGrease, sorry to be the bearer of bad news:

I appreciate the appreciation, though. It was a lovely bike.

Blimey, I hope you didn't hurt yourself Ned. Proper job of knackering that though. Just riding along?

HFS @nedrapier!!!!!

This thread isn't really panning out as I expected. *

* - I mean I am concerned about your wellbeing as well as the bike. Honestly.

are you sure its not a sticker?

A couple of S&S frame couplers and you'll be back in action.

I was fine. It let go in the most gracious way possible, second pedal stroke off the tarmac, a mile from home.  pedal stroke 1: "What's that noise?" pedal stroke 2: "Oh, that's that noise."

Could have been a lot worse:  I used to ride it on all the steepie tracks near me, pretty sure last time out I rode the one with the fast, 4' drop to flatish.

Looks like it had been poorly for a while.  Gutted I didn't catch it time to repair it. Hey ho.  I met a friend of a friend at SSUK who has a dekerf softail with a knackered rear triangle, so there are options for a cut 'n' shut.

Weird that the head tube has cracks propagating from the breather hole in odd spots too. Glad you were OK - that could have been terrible. Beautiful bike (in its day) too.

Edit - looks like they might line up with the upper edges of the DT gusset.
