I ordered this in mid Nov with a delivery promise date of Dec 7. Called the shop on the 5th to verify and got a mid Jan delivery date. Anyone else dealing with this situation? 'cus I'm doubtful it'll actually materialize mid Jan now.

Cannondale seem to have misjudged 29er demand this year . Some delivery dates were put back from December to Jan 14 with the importers CSG . If you put an order in and paid a deposit the dealer should've ordered one and you will see it in Jan .
I take it you are talking about the Flash Alloy 2 which is effectively sold out for the year after the Jan drop .

Cannondale delivery times were a bit of a lottery pre-CSG, and this doesn't appear to have changed. Have had 2x S6's both of which turned up at random times unrelated to when they were due, as did my F1. Replacement frame for the second S6 did turn up within a week, to be fair.

Cannondale aren't the only supplier having problems with 29ers. 4 weeks now since I ordered mine and a couple of deadlines have already been missed.

Hi. It's true, delivery times pre CSG were terrible, but they've been improving loads since then. 29rs will be in short supply but orders placed will be fulfilled. I'd get your shop to chase their rep when CSG are back on the 3rd of Jan.

They gave up on cannondale and dropped them completely at a shop I worked at simply because the supply was so bad.CSG are much better now but all importers are being VERY cagey with first drops...especially with 29ers/longer travel bikes.

Quick update since I started this. I have still not received my Flash Alloy 2. Spoke to the shop yesterday and, although they are very busy. (OK)So what? As bike is apparently in stock now they reluctantly agreed to make a delivery this coming Tuesday. Nice of them to let me know it was here as promised!
Just curious. Has anyone else ordered one, or still waiting for delivery??
I pointed out that I'd been patient enough having been promised delivery on December 5th or 6th originally and they could get busy sorting me out first.
They didn't offer an apology or seem all that bothered I had been let down. Although polite, (when I've called them)they've remained totally non proactive and I've have to say, from a customer satisfaction point of view. I'm not Impressed.
So. Here's the name and shame section. Formby Cycles Merseyside.
If you don't mind doing all the work. These are your guys.

Would it not be better to wait until you've got it if you want to name and shame?

Make sure you take your handbag and stomp your foot on the ground whilst shouting 'DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM' in a high pitched squeel. That usually works...
