Anyone been in this situation? Is there a "normal" resolution or do you just accept your saving through the scheme already and move on?

Happy to ask the retailer and don't know if it varys depending on scheme provider..

I'm aware some shops add a processing fee onto an order for reduced goods/absorb the fee on full price items so I would bear this in mind..

Coulda woulda shoulda
There’s always gonna be deals on stuff, i stop looking at the price of anything i buy, no point torturing myself if the price has dropped after i bought it.
Other opinions/options may be available of course 👍👍

Just accept that the timing wasn't in your favour, and enjoy riding your discounted by to and from work.

Just doing my homework 😃

The only scheme I could see that covered it was Halfords- "if the bike has reduced in price, you are able to redeem the balance on cycle accessories of your choice"

Which prompted me to ask. I can see how a reduction is a hassle to process with the scheme mind!

I bought my son a bike from Evans with C2W.

Got home and there was a sticker on it suggesting retail price was a bit cheaper than I'd paid.

Called them up straight away and they refunded the difference in full.

Sonder?

I bought a Camino a few weeks ago through C2W and now see that it's been reduced by £150.
Bit of a shitter, but just one of those things.

Got to watch out for this sort of thing whenever there's some tax incentive or government grant on things. People feeling entitled to have a slice of your benefit for themselves. Retailers, equipment suppliers, solicitors when help to buy, etc.

Bit silly admitting to tax fraud…

Email the shop and ask them if they'll do owt. Happened to me with a Vitus from CRC years ago. Reduced the bike by £150 a week after I bought it. They sent me a voucher.
