My Sid xc rear shock leaks air now. What options do I have re replacements? Does anyone know what shock length eye to eye and stroke shock I need?

I believe it was a 190 x 50. For a while I had an old manitou swinger on mine which seemed to work very well, some kind of platform shock makes a big difference. Quite often see Float RP3 for decent prices on the classifieds in that size, I'd be tempted by one of those.
Mine is 2003, but it's on a 190x50 RP23 (I think, it's something like that anyway) It's smashing.
190x50. I'd suggest a rp2, rp3, or rp23 with propedal. Will enhance the ride quite a lot. As mentioned above they come up at reasonable prices often. Try to get one that's been serviced recently.
I have a DT Swiss on mine, which works well, although needs a service now 🙂
