Stolen from Ely station bike parking last week.
Can't put a picture in on the phone.
They must have been professionals as they used a 6mm Allen key to remove the rear wheel. Expect it'll soon be broken for parts.
I've reported the theft and frame serial number to the police - not expecting much, as no-one seemed interested in looking at the CCTV footage.
Please let me know if you see it, or anything related, such as parts.
Build is:
Black Marzocchi 350 NCR forks and Fox Float shock.
Green trim - Fabric saddle and green Chromag lock-on grips. Chromag 740mm carbon Cutlass bars, Thomson 50mm X4 stem, SRAM X1 trigger. Thomson dropper seatpost. Formula disk brakes. Oval chainring, chain guard, and Time Atac clipless pedals.
Front wheel is a Light Bicycle black carbon rim with 2½" Maxxis Minion DHF tubeless tyre, Hope Pro 2 hub,
I've still got the rear wheel.
I'm looking on Facebook, Gumtree, eBay and Pinkbike.
Is there anywhere else?
Cash Converters may be another one.
Sorry to hear its gone...
Colour? Size?
That's crap. Hope you get some good news.
Colour? Orange… 😀
🤦
Yeah. Sorry, not paying attention. Thought it was an Orange bike, rather than an orange bike!
Shit. Not that it helps, but others must be thinking - thats why you have a shit bike to ride to the station. Any time I see nice bikes at train stations I wince. Scrots always are on the hunt at stations. No one stops them either.
I haven't used this site, but heard it mentioned on several threads
