[Closed] Orange 5 adjstable seat post

If you have an older 5 then it's a Gravity Dropper or X-Fusion Hi-Lo for you. If a newer (2011?) model then take your pick from all the usual suspects.

yep its the older one with 30.8 mm post.

I think KS fits as well but none in UK

Anyway, I have a gravity dropper on my five, it's ace. Agricultural in looks and functionality, but reliable and doing the job very well. Dead simple to disassemble and clean as and when required.

A mate has the same setup and would tell you a similiar story.

IF you have the larger verison then you need to get a GD and a shim 😀

helps if you know the diameter of your seatpost, not the seatpost clamp... As others have said it will be 27.2. Orange have gone to 30.9 for newer frames to accept more uppydownies.

and a google search should show up a scan of an MBR group test (though they seem to have got a duff GD as theirs had loads of play and they hated it).
