I broke my EDC tool for the second time recently (first one was replaced under warranty) i broke this one as I was trying to torque up my poxy race face cranks that like to wobble off every couple of rides and I’d forgotten to tighten it up before I went out and so had to do it trail side with the EDC tool. As I leaned on the little tool to get it done up tight the 2 plates of the tool snapped.
I was going to order a new tool, but I thought I’d email and I see if I could purchase replacement plates for the tool rather than a whole new tool before I did. I got a reply from oneup within an hour (on a Sunday) and they apologised and sent me a code for a free new replacement tool and a free oneup t-shirt!
I was blown away, they really didn’t have to do that as I’d made it quite clear that it was down to me. I thought the least I could do in return is share how good they are.
