I'm building up my. Love shape of the frame, but not to keen on logo splashed all over it. Not very symmetrical either. Black mate heli tape done the job. Brushed Alu would be perfect, like on my Scandal. Laser etched logo was way more classy. All threads OK. Welding ok. Came with no bottle cage bolts and in plain brown box. No manuals, or any other paper work. I don't mind all this as long, as frame cheap and strong. Will let you know more when build it up properly.

Sorry for stupid questions here but been ages since I built up a modern bike.

With the inset bottom race on the headset, how long steerer do you think I need for some forks? Headtube is 130mm and on old school I would add 40mm for headset and stem, but might not need so much on this?

And second, says 135 x 10mm rear, is that the normal standard now? I always thought it was 135 x 9mm normal quick release. If I buy any quick release rear wheel assume that will be ok?

Thanks a lot for any help. Sorry if this is really stupid!

Hi coomber. Yes, head tube is 130mm. Headset top assembly, will take another 9mm. It's integrated heaset, so both bearings and crown race are inside the frame. Only thing "sticking out", will be top part of headset and this is only 9mm. So 130mm+ 9mm+ stem and spacers. That's all you will need. I hope it helps.

Any idea of when they'll be available again ?

Finally got out on mine yesterday. Got the frame from Planet X on eBay and built it from that. Loved it. Better seat and pedals on the way though..

If anyone wants a really cheap one in 18", £559 full x5 bike in the Sheffield shop. Tryed my best to decide it was big enough, but I sadly need a 20".
