I ordered an one-one merino top last weekend (50% off). Delivery was pretty quick and I got to go out in it today.

Have to say that it rocks, and it might just be my favourite piece of cycling clothing I own. Didn't feel sweaty - just nice and dry and warm.

Highly recommended.

ooooh thats good to hear. I called in to their showroom yesterday to have a look at the carbon 456 and walked out with a merino wool top and an On-One black jersey.

The merino looks way too posh to be riding in ๐Ÿ™‚ But may give it a go.

The new On-One showroom is super posh with high security, buzzers & coded doors etc. Well worth a visit.

Had mine for a couple of weeks, pretty positive so far. I've yet to get rained on though and it does feel a bit like I've gone for a ride in a cardi'. ๐Ÿ™‚

Chubby - how chubby are you?

Is it a tight fit or a TIGHT fit?

I got their long sleeved jersey and it was almost painted on.

merino is the best for layers. Got tops and even socks. the soxs are thin but really quite warm.

The merino is more forgiving than the spray on tops ๐Ÿ˜†
The merino is top notch, I love mine.

WHat's the sizing like? I'm usually a small, 38" chest (if I puff it out!), but no smalls left when I looked yesterday

Quirrel

I'm 5' 11" with a 35" waist (hope I have the ' and " the right way round!). I have a 43" chest - no idea my armpit measurement! - that's pretty difficult to measure yourself.

I got a large and it's, as you put it 'tight', not 'TIGHT'. Plenty of stretch left in it.

Hope that helps.

Chubby

I wear my On-one merino for apres bike duties (the pub), as it looks and feels too good to ride in. I'm usually XL and this sizes up okay but is prone to a little post wash shrinkage.

Their black long sleeve jerseys are very much on the small size; had to go XXL for it to touch me (must lay off the pies!)

Blimey! Mine are fantastic quality.

Well, I've racked up 30 rides in my two. I've been rained on and climbed 25% gradients in the blazing sun, and I can happily say they're the best riding tops I've ever owned. Incredibly, they still smell as fresh as the day they arrived. I think you'd only need a couple for a years riding without washing them :-0

My medium is a slim fit without being too tight (I'm 5'8" and slim). With some shrinkage to be expected after the first wash (3%?) the fit will be even better.

Highly recommended, but in my search for other merino tops I came across www.Rapha.cc

...niiiice! ๐Ÿ™‚

Quirrel: I ordered the short sleeved jersey, and it is very tight. Haven't been out in it yet, but it might have to be under a jacket.

The long sleeved looked tight in the photo, but it took two people to pull it around me. in XXL

Strange sizing
