[#4927532]

Considering a new bit of bling in the form of an On One Lurcher. I've been perving for a while but yesterday managed to snap my frame at a Gorrick on the old bike.

I'd be using the bike mainly for XC and a few races such as the Gorricks and Brass Monkeys. What are people's thoughts? Any one experienced one?

Thanks!

I really like mine having ridden a steel Inbred 29er before (I've also had their 26" versions of the Inbred and Scandal). Mine is set up singlespeed, with the race forks so it's a very light build all in. Geometry is very On-one, with a longish top tube which suits me and it's a fast mile muncher as well as being comfortable.

The one major downside is the ridiculous press fit BB - they are rubbish and don't last particularly well at all. However, the new solution from Hope may help to resolve that.

So what have you and Dave replaced them with? I'm very taken with that green one, but I think you can only get red as a complete bike.. Maybe begging letters work...
