Hi.
My wife is looking into getting the codeine with 29" wheels but is caught between two sizes. She is 5'7" but has really long legs. On one's size guide suggests a small but she thinks a medium. I'm also 5'7" and ride a small inbred and fatty but with my wife's longer legs she'd have to have the seat up a further 7cm. Can anybody offer any advice? What's the stand over clearance like on the codeine?
Cheers.
Keith.
I'd say small as I am 6'2" and I loved the medium.
Thanks Brant.
Brant, I'm 6ft and have a large codeine, other than it being a big bike with a long seat tube it feels just right for me, in reach and top tube, how do you manage a much shorter top tube on the medium if you are six foot two?
Op, I hope this isn't hijacking your thread and you think it's relevant
Cheers

Just to help, I'm 6'2" also and found a friends large too small... 😀
I just liked it around Hebden for steep up and steep technical downs.
If you are riding around more then I expect longer would be better and I am also a bit of a funny shape.
I'm 6'2 and the large was teeny weeny (apart from the massive head tube).Same reach as my 4x bike 😕
Shame as it was awesome (and had it's own gravity well)
5'10" , 31" inside leg and +4 on the ape index on a medium .
I'd be happy with another 15//20 mm on the top tube .
Bike sizing is a pita .
If Worcestershire way you try my medium .
I'm 6' and had a large, was good in that I've got long legs for my height so extra seatube length was welcome. Top tube / reach was only just long enough for my liking. Rode great, really enjoyed it, particularly good on the descents.
