A quick numpty question, if I may.
The 456 Evo looks sweet on Matt Raw finish; is this a permanent colour (ie paint or lacquer) or will it oxidise like the old Summer Season did?
I would like it to stay the same; is this the right finish?

it's lacquered.
but eventually moisture will probably permeate through the lacquer and it will rust a bit - just like they rust under paint. It'll take a while - I wouldnt worry about it. it's a mountain bike designed to be abused. 🙂

I don't mind wear and tear, but I don't want to ride around on somehting that looks like that towtruck in the Cars films.
