Hi can anyone recommend me a online map reading tutorial for a friend of mine who wants to brush up before a Mountain bike leader course

i always find the one issue i have map reading on a bike is measuring distance on the ground, worth getting a bike computer to help you out
I got grief for not having a bike computer during my assessment - despite being damned accurate and knowing exactly where I was throughout the trip. Meh.
depending on where he's based, I could take him out for a walk/ride to go over basic map and compass work? I am N wales based FHI
