Back in the day when the 7 stanes was just kicking off, post foot and mouth, I went on a demo day at GT. This was run by a well known bike British bike company, and unbeknown to me they had some of their pro riders up with them. Just for a giggle I started chasing some random rider, they saw me doing this then promptly left me for dead - dropped like a fat ugly girlfriend. Turns out this rider had and has since then won a few things - world champs and stuff... Doh.

No, anyone who has ridden with me will know that I am crap on some types of terrain, but always wanting to try and race folk. Just for a giggle.
Pretty much anyone who's taken the stabilisers off their bike. 😳
Fionn Griffiths ages ago at Coed y Brenin, not knowing who she was at the time I thought 'I'm not getting passed by a bird' and died trying to get by again. Pride now thoroughly dented if I get passed now by anyone I tend to let them go, unless I'm on the singlespeed......
