The frame on an old (12 years?) bike which is used only in the summer holidays has gone really sticky. It might be from the decals though it seems to be beyond just where the stickers are.
Any recommendations to remove it, without the need to repaint it afterwards?
WD-40?
Nail Polish remover?

lighter fluid (naptha)
or IPA (not the drinking kind)
will take the sticky off in one wipe.
Some stickers shrink over time so you could well have adehisve outwith the current footprint of the sticker.
