I got fork oil on my clothes today while servicing my forks. ๐Ÿ™

Has anyone got any (sensible...) suggestions as to how to get it out and save my shorts? Please?

Ta,

Christian

Used some Sainsbury's upholstery cleaner yesterday on some very black stains on my boot carpet - cam up well so maybe worth a go.

WD40. loads, then scrub, then hot wash.

Vinegar shifts all kinds of difficult stains. Apply liberally and scrub a bit then chuck items straight in the washing machine as usual. Works well on the chain lube and grease stains I get working daily in a bike shop.

I read about the WD40 trick somewhere so may try that. Put some Vanish stick on it but not completely gone. Will try vinegar then WD40, then red wine (... um, never).

Grumm - I was after something that I may have round the house so I could sort it straight away rather than going to the shop, but may get some when I'm there.

Thanks for the help.
