In your case we might recommend use of the jetwash, just be careful where you are blasting everything

To any of you's who opened this while eating your lunch.... The clue was in the title.

OP. This is the creator's message to you never to ride with the lever of your skewer in that position. Tuck it away where it won't get caught on shit, or collect some as you ride...

Eurgh...

I went on a nice summer bike ride with my wife...i was going to take her on her first 'long' and 'challenging' ride to the North Downs, rather than the normal pootles down the Thames Path.

We got a couple of miles in and i could smell poo...as we'd just cycled past a poo bin i assumed it was that.

Then i noticed slimey poo up my leg, on/in/all over my shoes, and incasing my peddles. Ended up trying to wash my leg and bike in a puddle but couldn't get rid of the stink so ended up going home. My MiL woudn't let me near the house.

I like dogs but hate inconsiderate owners.

arrr yes, gears. Now the excuse I have is that I am not only being a bit sissy, a bit injured too... but I was also scoping out the ssuk2013 route, and it has big climbs, and I was feeling lazy so I walked most of them anyway. So didnt really use the gears.

have I got way with that?

What's that story about the bloke who got sprayed with s%^& from his front wheel? After further inspection, he said to his mate "I didn't know dogs ate sweetcorn?!?". ๐Ÿ˜†

I have had it splatter over my head from the back wheel on a bmx (sitting down) and land on the bars next to the grip. I thought someone was throwing it and shouted 'who TF is flinging sh*t$?!' After we stopped and noticed that nobody was around to do such an awful thing, it was also found on the rear tyre.

The splattering is your own fault though. You were checking stuff out and laid the bike where the dog laid the egg!

Did you seize the opportunity to pretend to taste some, & confirm that it was indeed from a labrador ?

martinxyz... not from laying the bike down, it was also splattered under the down tube and the BB and the stays. That is a fluke of flying poo.

I quite often ride through Horsey poo, don't look like that though and is rarely that soft.

I'd check under the saddle too..

I had a big chunk on my water bottle the other day, was about to take a swig, just caught a whiff before I jammed it in my mouth and managed to recoil in time.

Last week, on the last 10 metres of a 2hr ride, a large lump of dog poo flicked up and landed on my saddle without me realising...I then sat down!

Possibly them most disgusting thing I've ever had happen to me. Had to be hosed down in the back yard. F****g dog owners that don't pick up after their dogs!!!!!!!

Or... Just use the real thing. Strategically placed poo smears, nuggets, and always ride upwind.

Its a Win/Win deal, surely ?.

don't forget the christmas tree air fresheners along the route like the 2010 SSEC to keep the smell of dog toffee at bay ๐Ÿ˜€
