Inspired by a chap from Notre dame?!

There are some lovely looking bikes around at the moment, then there is this!

I honestly thought it was an e-bike when I saw it.

Nomad looks elegant and well-proportioned by comparison.

It's to allow piggyback shocks, apparently. Really does ruin the bike.

It's still not as ugly as a Mondraker!

It'd as bit Giant Reign round the BB area too.

They always look a bit like they've sagged after years of too much pie and beers.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'd take this over the Lappy any day...[img] [/img]

Yeah, that recent trend where a section of the downtube runs parallel to the ground in front of the BB is something I really dislike the look of.

Gone from making ugly bikes that break to ugly bikes that maybe don't.

To be far it has grown on me,did think they rode it into a wall! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
the dark colours seam to make it look better (the yellow I saw at the shows looked worse!)

As above because you lot (the customers) like to swap/upgrade shocks etc it is done so you can run piggy back shocks.

Anyway you not going to look at when you ride so and as it such a quick bike, (Adrien Dailly won the overall EWS Junior title in his first year, plus ex world DH champ Nico finished in 5th overall with a couple of podiums) people not going to see it when it you go flying by! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

For once it is function over fashion. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I agree with others - the pot belly is the most offending part, and just to fit a bottle in!
Mondraker looks OK to me

Zesty isn't bad looking.

I'd be wary of any of them though, my old 2011 Spicy 516 got amazing reviews, looked good and rode okay around the road by my LBS - but it was pretty crap as a mountain bike in standard form.
