Been looking to get a pair of transitions and was hoping someone could help clear this up.
The vr50 transition have a light transmission: 50% - 10%, the black - persimon are 42% to 10%. I understand that and know what i'd be getting - However the clear-black iridium dont seem to be sold that way - they are instead described as "Activated: 10%, Faded: 66%". Does that just mean 66% - 10%?
Also is this the current clear-black iridium transition lens the "new" one that was announced about a month ago? (i had thought that went 9%-70%)
Thanks for any help
Clear Black Iridiums came out the start of July (according to cyclingnews)
Having seen them in the bike shop they seem pretty clear on the display (by a window). The lens is SOLFX so in theory would be a little greyer than a normal transition lens.

66% to 10%, yes
Talk to these guys on the phone, they'll advise you what works best and then sell you what you need for a lot less than official oakleys (I know guys who've had iridium off them for a tenner!)
