Not sure if you have heard of email before but it really is quite the thing. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's the cats pyjamas...

v10 - how much have you ridden the snap? what sorta BB height has it got? (def looks abt right in pics) what sort of build was it? and how heavy was the complete bike?

Ta.

Reasonable amount, was the silver one we had at eurobike so build is pictured here:

That build was 26lb on the nose. If my memory serves me correct frame weight is 4.4lb and BB is 12.5, dont quote me on those though as it often doesnt! Geo has been modified and tested by Lucas throughout the season and production version is a direct copy of his finalised frame. Worked ok for him anyway 😆

GW why have you never ordered a custom bike if you know exactly what you like?

v10 - Thanks (meant to ask if the BB height was with 80 or 100 mm fork but since you're not 100% on that I'll just wait til final geometry specs are released). That's a pretty light build, my current 4X frame weighs around the same as that but full build is 30.5lb (it's built as light as I'd like to have it and still be able to ride DH on it though with 721s, slammed Pike and saints) Which fork is on the 26lb build? a Reba? and what wheels?

al - from who? I certainly can't think of any frame builder that can do a better job than the big name brands and far eastern factories at building an alumiium hardtail frame. Why bother anyway when I can buy something with geometry I like straight off the shelf for a fraction of the cost of custom.

Would be with 100mm forks, its also slightly adjustable with the 44mm headtube too as you can run either an internal or external 1"1/8th headset.

Spec from memory.

NP 44mm headset.
100mm Reba Maxlelite
NP Stem/Bars/Saddle/Post/Grips/Clamp/All Mountain Wheelset/
Straitline Chaindevice.
X.0 Mech/Shifter
Ultegra Cassette
2.1 RocketRon/Racing Ralph (probably the biggest weight saving)
XT Chainset / Blackspire Ring
Elixir CR Brakes
Was without pedals too so just under 27 in real money.

Ah, right... that'd be a fairly easily achievable weight if it were to be used solely for 4X.

Thanks again for the spec.

Ah fair enough I thought you were looking for something that was not available other than the Snap.
