Whilst it's great to see Nukeproof return to the market, I was hoping their new range would be different and exciting. They seem to have rehashed all their previous bikes, colours and considerably upped the prices, not convinced that's the way to go in the current market. The Nukeproof Reactor is a virtual copy of the previous incarnations.

They didn’t go bust because they had bad bikes/bikes people didn’t want to buy, if it ain’t broke…

Tough launching a new MTB at the moment unless it has a new more powerful motor!

It looks like they have updated the geometry; the old frame was looking a little dated, and bumped the travel slightly. I'm not sure there is much other meaningful progress in mid travel MTB design in the last few years. In frame storage might be nice but increase costs even more, an idler might interest a few but turn off more.

The challenge is introducing a new product into a very slow market where big players are still dumping inventory at low cost; noone can sell a new bike that competes with inventory ordered in COVID being dumped below cost.

As an owner of a bargain Giga, hopefully this means I can buy spare parts in future if/when it breaks. It's a great bike so I think it's still relevant even though it's a few years old.

just setting up the logistics, supply agreements, QC, PDI is going to take time and cash, a completely new bike even longer and a lot more cash.

They do have some kids bikes in the works according to their socials which would be great, availability of decent kids MTB's is pretty hit or miss in the UK.

I just hope they are better made. I had a carbon mega that I loved until the tube in tube routing disintergrated in the down tube which meant I lost confidence in the integrity of the frame.

I think the new Reactor looks like great, it's just a shame the seatpost insertion isn't another 30-40mm. Will defiantly be on my list next time I want a new frame.

I don't think the new pricing is much different to other brands.

Still the odd cheap old stock one's knocking around

Had a look at the new Dissent DH bike at FoD the other week - looks nice.
