Anyone ridden the Pont Scethin loop from Talybont recently? there are some threads on it but they seem to be about 6 or 7 years old.
visiting In-laws live at Pwllheli over BH. usually have a day at stinky or CYB but fancy something a bit more natural this time.
is it worth doing, by worth doing i mean are there any good descents? looking at the pictures they all look a bit tame...?
or am i better off exploring Beddgelert / Rhyd-ddu?
what if i added an up/down of Cadair Idris too? is this better from the north (pony path) or from Llanfihangel-y-pennant??
Gonna ride Cadair Idris, looks far more up my street.
Apparently the pony path is footpath only so it looks like starting at Llanfihangel is favourite.
im sure that will be enough adventure for me on its own, but maybe doss about on the cyb pumptrack for a bit on the way back too!
