Earlier in the year I bought a Tacx flow turbo, bluetooth and ANT controlled resistance, with the idea that I'll use this when the weather is rubbish.
not used it much yet, but quite like the Tacx android app, especially for it's ability to upload tracked ride GPX and have them as workout routes.
However, my phone has ANT, I have an ANT dongle for my PC, but the tacx PC app is somewhat different from the android one and doesn't allow using GPX as routes, just the videos, that need a subscription.
I've no clue how much I'll use the turbo, so at this time aren't looking for a subscription based app, but it would be nice to have the larger screen of the PC. I've thought about android emulators, but I don't think that the ANT USB would work well with that.
so, my question is, are there any independent PC apps that will allow the use of GPX to control smart turbo's?
It may be that I actually get on with this years turbo trainer, and a subs based app does work, but for now, not really.
