Just musing a frame swap on my xc bike. Current setup is a 51mm offset non boost 29er front end and 142 29er rear. Does anyone still make a suitable steel HT so I could just swap everything over, or am I just into 2nd hand territory? Happy to go 2nd hand, but what should I be looking at?

Steel HTs are a pretty safe bet secondhand.

I'd also suggest the Sherpa, maybe a Shan or something by NS.

I don't think there's that much choice in non-boost steel 29ers TBH, Cotic skipped 142x12. If you can do 135 QR rear on your hub then the gen 2 Solaris rides really nice.

Sherpa looks interesting. Swappable dropouts to cover future changes as well. Looks a touch short, but could be a goer.

Solaris 2 is great allrounder but QR back end. Having said that mine might be up for sale but likely as full bike. What size are you looking for? Mines an XL so 6 ft up really!

Think it was singlespeedstu who was selling the quarterhorse - just mentioned in a post not the classifieds.
