I have been using sprots tracker since about Feb this year with no probs at all
Then a few weeks ago i put a software update on it and it started crashing all the time when used with my music player
Put some older software on it and it tracks fine when my music plater is working but if i stop and take a pic on the camera that does not show up when i upload it all to the sports tracker site
Any one got a link to some older software for the 5800 that will work with photos and music
i have v1.83(S60 5.0) at the moment

i don't know if i can help exactly with what you mean, but i got a very recent sports tracker version that has only just come out specifically for the 5800 and mine works fine all round. probably worth getting that.
don't know what you can do about the operating system rollback though.
do you know what version your sports tracker is ??
i have tried a few on mine and have yet to find one that works like it did when it was first downloaded to my 5800
my phone does crash a lot so i am tempted to get intouch with vodafone to see if its a prop with the phone or software its self

don't know what the version is, other than the fact that it's only just come out speifically for the 5800. so must be different to the one you've got if you've had it a while. this is it: http://symbianworld.org/1187-sports-tracker-finally-available-for-nokia-n97-and-5800/
my 5800 was fine at first, but then started to have problems with connections. i spoke to vodafone and they immediately said they'd send a new one which would arrive the next day, and has been fine. there must have been issues with the early ones.
I'm running version 2.06 without any problems. I did need to do a wee bit of digging to find it though; drop me a mail and I can send it on.
You want to make sure you have the latest firmware too.
martin ygm too mate. my version seems to work fine but wont update just keeps saying internal error ;-(
Mick, just replied to you, then saw you also have the update error problem. Everything else is working fine, and I've not seen any updates on the version since 2.06, so I think that is the latest and greatest.
possibly ive just found its v2.06 (s60 5.0) if that means owt to you 😉
