Anybody else going down to deepest, wettest Wales for this event tomorrow?
I'm heading down this afternoon, and at least the forecast has improved a tiny bit; looking merely wet now rather than biblical.
it looks ace.
but...
200km and 6500m of climbing?
😯
i'll leave it for the non-weaklings.
(and it's £175)

Better value than the average enduro?
No repettative laps a-la SITS/MM/24-12.
More downhill than you'd get in 3 days uplifting (or probably 3 weekednds at a race).
It does look absolutely brutal though, but isn't it usualy the STW moan that the Gravity Enduro has become too DH biased, then again at Innerleithern on Sunday I was overtaken by an 'Elite' DHer (I know this as I google stalked him after finding out who he was on Strava, he did the entire XC loop in under the hour, and the climb in 30min! In perspective I took a leisurely aproach of riding the easy bits and pushing the steep bits and it took me almost 2 hours from the car park to the top! Thankfully I wans't so far behind him on the down which was a plesant surprise.
It's not the 220km that worries me, or the 6500m. It's the rain, midges and camping!
I get the impression that there may not be many doing it as entries are still open.
