I would also like to know this, was looking to change my current 2.25 Evo nobby nics to the 2.4.
But what is the difference in the evo and performance compounds?

Triple nano is 3 rubber compounds and a lighter tyre. The sidewalls are pretty thin. Good for racing. Not so durable so they get expensive if you use them the whole time.
Performance is heavier ORC rubber, not triple compound and has more durable sidewalls. Good training/trail tyre.
If you can get Triple Nano Snakeskin ones they are the best of both and last forever.
Avoid the Double Defense ones - they are practically solid and ride like crap.
Depends what you're after really.
