My mates swear by Highrollers for our local woods and I do seem to struggle with my Nobby Nics but blame it on my poor skills.
I run H/R on the rear of my Yeti & N/N on the front! sweet as no probs
I find NN's are pressure sensitive, and work better at lower (30psi) levels.
But at too low a pressure the sidewalls fold (on the front at least) - 25psi. Ask me how I know ๐
if you want cornering grip.. put your NNs away and save for ... an enduro race and get some High Rollers..
very predictable even when sliding.. best all round is the 2.35 Kevlar bead 60a
Are the highrollers much "heavier" (in the sense of rolling resistance) compared to the Nobby Nics?
Running 2.35 super high rollers at 35psi and the grip is fantastic. I discovered i was running them at 20psi for some bizarre reason and it was torture on the flat/ups but now they're at a sensible pressure they're far better
