It seems that they’re no more, which (for me at least) is a pity, as they’ve been my choice of rear tyre on my singlespeeds, in “trail extreme” version for the last eight years (or since whenever they were first available).
Cheap, ran well tubeless, not too draggy and just worked well enough for a rear tyre. I always used a 29” Chunky Monkey on the front and you can still get those but I’ll miss the Smorg.
What else is there that’s similar in 26” and doesn’t cost the earth?

The 2.4" Goma tyres that PX are knocking out for a tenner are good if you can fit them between the stays (really more like a 2.35").

At that price I might as well give one a try - the ones they have are shown as 2.25”?

If you’re interested I think I’ve got two smorgasbord in the shed. Very little use on them as I didn’t like them and neither did the  good lady..

those vittoria tyres look ok on Planet X, might give them a try!

They were excellent tyres...the 27.5 is good but not got such a deep tread as the 26". Shame they are no more.

I shed a little tear when they stopped selling the 26" Chunky Monkey as that is my favourite front true... annoyed at myself as I bought a Smorgasbord as a spare a while back when buying some other bits, but didn't get the CM at the same time as it said they had lots in stock...

I’m pretty sure I’ve got a 26” chunky monkey with very little wear in the garage. I’ll try to dig it out if you’re keen and it’s yours for postage a couple of beer tokens. It might possibly be perished as it’s a few years old, but think it’ll be fine. PM me if you want it.

I bought four CM’s last year and had them sent out to Greece, as I think they’re ace on dry rocks. Unfortunately I didn’t think about getting any Smorgs for the grim north.....
