Dear Sirs, - I am torn between two frames, the on-one scandal or the niner EMD or even the Air if funds allow. I know the smart money is on the scandal its less than half the price. Id likely set it up 1x10 and use it for XC duties and the odd ride to work as well - I do think the Niner is much prettier, but is it a better bike? please opinions on both, also whats the customer service like. Thanks team!

I'm looking at various options for a 29er build myself, so would be interested in the answer to this question.
The EMD does look nicer - providing you can get it in the 'Hot Tamale' colour - everybody seems to only stock the 'Moondust' option.
on one carbon 29er? scandal is great. i have a steel niner mcr in a 1x10 guise, and it is very very nice. id never pay retail price on their frames except the air9 which is beautiful. id go on one and use the spare cash for nice wheels.
geometry is pretty much identical, so it's down really to niche appeal vs money.
Go with what makes you excited, the practical option will work for a while but the "bling pixies" will start whispering that you should have got the prettier one (IME) 😀
