The group I ride with are thinking of doing a night ride @ FoD this week so just wondering if the Pedal-away carpark is locked at all? Ideally want to park there then do Verderers and Freeminers..
Nope, it doesn't get locked thanks to the council distribution centre which is also there, you will find that the car park is generally very busy later on in the evenings!
Yep, all fine there. I guarantee you will not be alone!

It's like bloody Disney land with all the lights in the wood.
Watch out for all sorts of creepy things. Deer look 10 feet tall, owls make blood curdling noises and the damn boar are just invisible until you hit one.
The chap with the axe is probably me.
Not to mention the ghostly miners that come out at night who are 200 years old they are very Strange. 😉
