Top of Minch Moor, Innerleithen. Saw 2 other people in the whole forest - both sessioning on the DH track. Not another soul on the red the whole way round.
I used to love evening rides at Innerleithen. Still miss it even though I live in the Alps now.
Sneak out of work early. Jump in the car and shoot down to Innerleithen. Pedal up to the top. Sit there and watch the sun dropping and look at THAT view while you know you've got THAT descent to come. Pure happiness!
