Since Lorraine Pascal came along, Nigella and her repertoire have lost some of their allure ! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yes to annoying, although we do eat supper.

Remixed Nigella, not [s]necessarily[/s] safe for work...

What do you mean, 'starting'?

She's awful.
Simpering, over sexualised nonsense, designed to appeal to the mindless.

Patronising drivel.

I rather not, ta.

extremely irritating, and the receipies are pants as well - and when you consider that they aren't hers, she buys them in...........

Does one skip dinner if one is having supper?

Lorraine Pascal is cool. Great food, stunning looks and one of life's survivors.

Nigella has always been a parody of herself.

Nothing wrong with supper, though I am sufficiently non-U still to say "going out for dinner", as going out for supper sounds too pretentious even for me.

Pascal's interesting enough, but she doesn't have a great deal to say for herself through her coooking TBH. Interesting life story, though.

I have just had an email from Nigella.

She is beside her self that she has not reached the standard set by the STW massiv.

She is inconsolable.

She may have a rich family life and a successful business but this is too much for her to take.

But all is not lost.

I have convinced her there is good in the world of MTB and she has agreed t come to my place on Friday evening.

I can only hope my Pork Sword Surprise is up to her standard.

She's always been awful, cooking / recipes dire and an appalling manner.

Lorraine Pascal is fun to watch, such natural enthusiasm (and beauty)

@colournoise - I don't recall that girls name, I love French food and she just murders it.

The whole trying to sex up a prog is fake IMO.

The bird in her french flat is a flat gimmick.

The first two runs of River Cottage were AWESOME

I love her for her chocolate guinness cake alone.

Bought her "Domestic Goddess" book on the recommendation of Amazon, and it's excellent - well worth the money spent. Then I decided to watch a bit of her programmes (not on here in Spain), if I'd seen them first I'd never have bought the book - god she's annoying.

And "Nigella Express" is pretty average.

I find most tv cookery shows pretty difficult to masturbate over, but Nigella's is definitely easier than Saturday Kitchen.

Nigella is hilarious, obviously she knows she parodying herself and is having fun with it, plus her food is easy to make which is a big plus for me!

Just so I understand, is supper like tea, you know that meal after work? I always thought supper was some toast or fish finger butty before bed ?!

She's incredibly annoying, but almost all TV chefs are. And she's not even in the same league as Nigel Slater - I really like his food but he's intolerably pretentious.

Pascal is better, but has anyone else noticed how she never actually eats anything she cooks? She cooks something massively fattening and keeps going on about how she's really looking forward to stuff it in her face, then, when it's ready, she loads up a huge portion, brings the fork to her mouth and...CUT! I know she used to be a model, but it's still pretty funny...
