Did an amazing 5hr ride round Calderdale on Sunday.With it being cold the trails were fast as **** and the ice made it even more fun.
The views on the tops were simply stunning with all the mist hanging over the valley.
Didn't see any other bikers except on the canal.

Really nice pics. I thought it was perfect riding weather but like you I hardly saw anybody out both days.

We saw lots of people on the Mary Towneley loop on Saturday although mainly in the Cragg Quarry area. Managed to get myself a cold so missed Sunday - grrr.

Had a lovely ride along some local bridleways and some cheeky riding along the Teesdale Way (none of the walkers seemed to mind and were very jolly).
Thinking the ground would be rock solid and very fast I ran a pair of Racing Ralphs and nearly wiped out loads of times when the sun melted a thin layer layer on the surface of the trails which were still frozen underneath which was treacherous.
