Seeing as my Ibis had a hefty dent and the shock is past it I decided to reframe my parts.

Really tempted by some excellent deals on Arc8 frames but I had no chance of a demo. However I did spot 40% off a V5 Pivot Switchblade at a shop in the town where we were scheduled to race last weekend. The advantage of this is that a mate that I never get to ride with has one and he offered me a weekend loan. Tried it. Liked it a lot.

So here it is. Complete with matching bike building IMG_1239.jpegIMG_1231.jpegIMG_1230.jpeg beer.

Looks lovely despite the outrageous colour coordinated product placement in the build picture and the weed by the back wheel.

142 rear 160 front.

Really easy to do the cable routing which was a relief.

And it's a lovely feeling when your dropper is exactly the right length to be slammed to the clamp.
