Now then,

This tubeless malarkey is new to me but I'm having a pop at going tubeless on my new build but have a few questions. So my wheel is ztr flow with stans tape stuff but tyre is a bog standard non tubeless jobby. Now I've borrowed an air compressor and with a bit of soapy water managed to hear the bead 'pop' noise, BUT there's air coming out both sides quite a lot of the way round the rim. If if put the sealant stuff inside the tyre will this fix it or am I flogging a dead horse with these none tubeless tyres?!

Thanks

Sealant in, inflate again, slosh it about, ride it up and down the road, slosh it about some more, leave overnight, pump up again, slosh it about again, go ride...

Hopefully after all this is done, it should stay up, they usually do as long as you use a decent tyre.

Nice one - I'll give that a blast. Cheers!

The sealant is essential, to complete the seal of any weaknesses in the tyre is partly why it's there.

You're flogging a very much living horse: Flows/Crests are intended for running regular tyres as ghetto tubeless, NOT proper 'tubeless ready' or UST (ie made to run tubeless) tyres.

Cheers for the advice - Tyres up and stayed up overnight. Absolutely buzzing that I actually got it to work!
