[#7844815]

I have Avid 0X brakes and shifters (match maker) currently.

do the new xt 11spd shifters come with a regular bar mount? I'm completely confused with shimanos mount systems.

might go sram brake sin the future so would be nice to have the option of fitting the shifters to the brakes directly.

You want some problem solvers mismatch doodads. Attach your Shimano shifters to matchmaker avid levers.

M8000 XT comes in:

Bar mount
Ispec B (backwards compatible with A)
Ipsec II (can be made to fit Ispec B with the £12 adapter from Hope designed to fit Ispec II to their Tech 3 brakes).

For fitting to Avid - not a clue. I think I would just go bar mount as these days with 1x11 it's just one side to mess with and your dropper remote can be over on the left.

Problem solvers or those people who make the reverb remote stubs (or was it whole new remotes?) might have something.

Bit opportunistic but I have a spare pair of these which i never used. They're £30ish from ison, I'll post mine for £20.

Edit: [i] Mismatch Adapter, BR0391

Trying to link to the page but my phone's being an arse. Should be able to Google that.
