I want a second set of wheels, a bit wider than my current skinny Mavics (22mm). Nice wheels, but I want something that will handle a larger volume tyre better.
Nothing super fancy, as my riding isn't deserving of much fanciness. This will give me the option to go skinny light for quick/long over the moors rides, or chunky for more jumpy playing out style rides.

Frame is regular 650b, not +, would you consider 35mm the biggest to go? there's some on Ebay that are 35mm (ID 31mm).

TBH, I'm looking at these, although the cassette will get sold off, and possibly the tyres. Keep the rotors before until replacement needed.

No experience of those particular rims but can’t see much wrong with those for that price.
IMO 30mm internal is the sweet spot for normal riding. Can handle 2.2 to 2.5 without ending up with odd tyre profiles. Should notice a difference if you’re used to 22mm rims.

I've got 35mm ID rims and all the newer 2.3 & 2.4 tyres I've tried have a decent rounded profile so I wouldn't worry about 31mm ID at all.

30mm internal is the sweet spot. 35mm is great if you’re running bigger tyres, think schwalbe 2.35 / maxxis 2.5wt / specialized 2.6 (all about 2.4 in real life). Try putting a 2.3 maxxis or specialized on a 35mm rim and it’ll be so stretched out that you’ll be riding the cornering knobs in a straight line.

30mm ID is perfect imo. I'd sell those tyres as not tubeless. They are a little heavy at 2.2kg (assuming that is actually the wheel with no rotor, cassette or tape weight) but not horrendous.
