Just bought her a pair of American Classic/Revolutions/Crest wheels from justridingalong. She doesn't know yet and they won't arrive for a week or so. Pretty good deal at £400. Obviously I'm rather hoping she'll be pleased. But never had AC hubs before and the wheels only weigh about 1350grams.
Will the AC hubs survive the peaks? Will the wheels live through a little light Alpine action?
She weighs about 9stone and rides like a girl.
Sadly looks a bit like the second, rides a bit more like the first.
On a bike, that is.
1 finger braking! She even has technique. Back on topic, the wheels have had generally good reviews so they should be fine. Bet she'll be chuffed good on you
The wheels will be no problem at all for peaks. I'm assuming dark peak/amber gate/Jacobs ladder type rides? If so she'll be fine, it's a light but very durable set up with good reviews
