im looking for new wheels for a friend,he just busted his front wheel on his 2011 boardman.he's a big fella so looking for something sturdy, also its got to be qr as he just got a set od wheels from an LBS and the wheels were 20mm and they put a conversion kit on that made his bike un-rideable for a month as they tried to get them to rotate without sticking,
he seen a set of eastons for £200 an doesnt realy want to go much higher than that,
any help would be appreciated

I had the freehub fail on a new set of Easton wheels after about 11 months of light use. It was rusted to hell, took a lot of work with wire wool to get it moving again.
US product not suitable for wet UK was my conclusion
APF
cheers APF.the wheels he liked dont come in standard 9mm qr so need to look at others,i said to him about the superstat ones they are doing for 200,my only concern is getting ones that use diff conversion kits as he's having major issues with a set of quad wheels his LBS ordered for him, they wont even rotate properly with major issues,
Hope
get the front rebuilt with something like a Flow or Mavic 321 or 721?
