Just received a replacement for my broken RP23. It's a 2014 model CTD. Eye to eye and stroke are all as previous. Tried to fitting to my 2010 Canyon Nerve XC and having connected one end can't quite line up the eyes at the other end. It looks like the problem is that the top part of the shock body (with the lever) is slightly more bulbous than my original and when I try compress the suspension slightly to line eyes up the swing arm is hitting the shock body with about a mm left. Frustrating.
Any advice, ideas etc. Can I mount the shock the other way up, upside down effectively? Is there an adapter that might help?
