Went in to the LBS with all of my Christmas money to buy a dropper.
They looked at the bike and informed me that I really should spend the cash on a back end rebuild as the bearings looked shot.
Cost of rebuild = Cost of dropper less £30.
No dropper for 3 months.
Arse.
Sounds like a good LBS to me. That said, it's hard to not notice a slack rear end....
Can't fault them... the dream crushing b'stards.Sounds like a good LBS to me
wop the plastic out? if it's only 3 months.
Get some bearings yourself and DIY (no rocket science) + dropper in a few weeks?

Thought of that, but I'd rather cover the cost up front.

Bitter experience tells me to pay someone to do it. Besides, the back end on a Trigger looks like the landing gear on an F4 Phantom to me.
what seatpost diameter ?
31.6
Go on... I'm intrigued.
Damn. I have a stealth dropper doing nothing that you could have borrowed / got cheap. But its 30.9.
Thanks. I could have shimmed it, but the frame won't take a stealth.

no drill?
Sell your body .
You may have enough come Easter 😉
Senor J is that this year? 😉
no drill?
Absolutely not!
I have a non-stealth 125mm dropper doing nothing since I upgraded to a 170mm one - failed to get round to selling it so far...
Chief GG, I've sent you a message using the fancy new message function.
I've got a 31.6 non-stealth 150mm Reverb sat around doing nothing at the moment, you can borrow that if CGGs doesn't work out for whatever reason, enquiries to the usual address...
Cheers Tom. I'll email you when I'm back in work.
