Just received a Fox RP2 from CRC to go on my Enduro and noticed that there appears to be a little bit of oil on the shock body. Never having bought a new shock before I've no idea if that's normal or likely to be a problem.
Any advice? Should I just fit it anyway?

its normal, same on a rp23 i got from mojo, when i phoned to ask they said its from assembly,

Yep should be ok it's on the body tube (shaft that slides in and out)? Will be float fluid from assembly. If it's coming out of the adjuster when you ride it that is an issue!

Cheers - the oil is on the shaft so that sounds ok.
