In need of a new saddle. I know it's a bit like buying a new helmet to try a few out and see which ones fit best, but just after a few ideas. I 'had' a Charge Knife until it developed a serious crack - and would like something of a similar thin, low profile.
So far been looking at WTB Volt, THE Icon Pro and the WTB Silverado... any other suggestions welcome.
SDG duster or Fizik Tundra 2 are my perches at the moment and are very comfy too
Tundra 2
saddles offering range of widths for more tailored fit may be worth a look..
I'm getting on really well with a Bontrager Evoke RXL.
this one: http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/bontrager-inform-evoke-rxl-carbon-mtb-saddle-id63364.html?gclid=CImRzp2J5LYCFYHHtAodGEIAgA
good price too ๐
Another vote for SGD's Duster. It replaced a Charge Spoon and is on the firmer side of comfortable, so I guess similar to a Knife? Also had a WTB Devo, which was pretty comfortable but felt very flat (if that makes sense).
Selle Italia Flite. Much comfier than they look, and they do look right in a retro bike kind of way.
Another vote for the Bontrager Evoke.
Used to have a Charge Spoon and had some serious pain in the ahem, crown jewels...
No problems at all with the Bonty.
I have one of these.. and luv it..

Went from a sdg bel air...to bontrager evoke...to sdg alisio...to spesh henge within 2 years....finally fizik aliante gamma xm and the thing is truly forgettable. Even on a hardtail the comfort levels don't change much.
Selle Italia Flite for me too. Got them on all my bikes - road race, fixie, fatty and tourer. I think the design is a couple of decades old, but they just got it right.
